The wait is almost over! Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is finally coming to consoles next month. Dubbed Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition, this version of the game is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on January 28, 2020, with the Nintendo Switch version’s release date to be announced early next year.
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition includes the base game, as well as all the major updates and expansions that are available for the PC version. This means the three paid expansions — Beast of Winter, Seeker, Slayer, Survivor, and Forgotten Sanctum — as well as the 5.0 update will be included in this new version of the game. All of this will cost $59.99, which you can now digitally pre-order on the Microsoft Store and the PlayStation Store.
For all the collectors out there, the Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Collector’s Edition includes a few items to aid you in flaunting your fandom for Obsidian Entertainment’s RPG. Costing $129.99 and releasing on January 28, 2020, for PS4 and Xbox One, the Ultimate Collector’s Edition will include the following items:
- Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire – Ultimate Edition
- 10’/25cm Od Nua Statue
- Spacepig Keychain
- Metal-optic 3D Sticker
- Premium Box
There will be a Nintendo Switch version of the Ultimate Collector’s Edition, but just like the standard edition, the release date has yet to be revealed. If you do want to check out what all the hubbub is about, the first Pillars of Eternity is available on the Switch now.
Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire is an RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Versus Evil. Inspired by classic tabletop RPG gameplay, the game features a big open-world, a large cast of characters, and a plethora of adventures to endure.
