We’re now less than a month away from the Japanese release of Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth, the second Persona spin-off by Atlus based on its Etrian Odyssey dungeon-crawling series. Today’s character trailer introduces Rise Kujikawa from Persona 4, who acts as the Investigation Team’s Navigator.
In the trailer, we get to hear Ryuji being head over heels for Rise, seeing her status as a famous idol. One of the dialogues shown also has Rise praising Ann for her showbiz skills, with Ann immediately blushing at the compliments in a very cute way.
Just like with the other Navigator characters, Fuuka from Persona 3 and Futaba from Persona 5, Rise can’t actually join your party but will support you from the sidelines.
As a side note, if you’re into anime, you could check out the anime adaptation of Persona 4, which is currently very cheap on Amazon. It’s one of the better game to anime adaptations out there, so it’d be a shame to miss on it if you’re a Persona fan.
Rise’s voice actress, Rie Kugimiya, is also one of the “Ideal Voices” DLC available for Catherine in Catherine: Full Body, along with many other Persona girls’ voice actresses. You can find the full list here.
You can watch Rise’s trailer below. Previous recent character trailers focused on Yukari Takeba from Persona 3, Yusuke Hanamura from Persona 4, Haru Okumura from Persona 5 and Marie from Persona 4 Golden. You can also check the shop specific pre-order bonuses for the game in Japan.
Persona Q2 releases on November 29th for 3DS in Japan. Hopefully, Atlus will announce the game for the west soon.
