Today Atlus released a large batch of screenshots and artwork of its upcoming portable JRPG Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth.
First of all, we get to take a look at the artwork for all the playable characters of the game, which include heroes and heroines from Persona 5, Persona 4, Persona 3, and Persona 3 Portable.
We also get to see three new characters. Hikari is a shy girl who found herself in the movie theater, while Nagi is the manager. Like Hikari, she has no idea of what is going on. Doe is a strange creature found in the projection room. He was the one operating the projector and showing a movie to Hikari and Nagi.
The story sees the phantom thieves exploring Mementos, but suddenly Morgana (in bus form) became uncontrollable and got sucked into a mysterious place, populated by enemies that our heroes had never seen before.
They managed to escape through an exit that led them to a strange movie theater. There they found Nagi and Hikari, who tell them that they literally popped out of the movie screen. Yet, the theater appears not to have an exit, and more people with the same powers will be summoned there.
The player can organize the characters in a party of five, and the gameplay system is similar to that of Etrian Odyssey, with the dungeon in first-person on the top screen, and the map drawn on the bottom screen.

The game will release in Japan on November 29th exclusively for 3DS.
