Atlus held these past weeks a survey in Japan in order to create a ranking of all the BGM in Persona 5. Shoji Meguro’s work on the game has been highly praised worldwide, so this is quite an interesting survey. The results have been published on February 19, during Persona 5 Scramble‘s launch stream. Persona 5 Scramble The Phantom Strikers launched in Japan on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 20, and we also streamed the first chapter of the game here and here if you’re interested. The results and votes were read on stream, along with pretty fun comments from Japanese fans, as comments could be attached to votes.
Here is the Top 10 BGM of Persona 5 according to the Japanese fans who voted:
- Life will Change
- Rivers in the Desert
- Last Surprise
- The Whims of Fate
- Hoshi to Bokura to
- Wake Up, Get Up, Get Out There
- Blooming Villain
- Beneath the Mask
- Will Power
- Price
The results are pretty unsurprising, with Life will Change, Rivers in the Desert and Last Surprise as the top three. 110 BGMs were ranked in total, and you can check the full results on the Persona Channel official site.
Persona 5 Royal launches on March 31 in the west, exclusively on PlayStation 4. Be sure to check out our preview of the English version, and our interview with the staff regarding localization changes.
