Today marks the launch of Override: Mech City Brawl, a 3D mecha fighting game from The Balance Inc. and new publisher Modus Games. While the fighting game may have just come out, the developers are already looking ahead and unveiling the game’s promised post-launch DLC. The first DLC character, Stardust, has been revealed and will hit all platforms on December 14.
Stardust will cost owners of Override: Mech City Brawl’s standard edition $39.99 when it launches in ten days. When it comes to fighting, the effeminate robot Stardust favors aerial juggling with a variety of kicks and a “shooting star” attack. Stardust also does so in a very stylish and extravagant way. It remains to be seen if Stardust’s showboating will leave her a bit vulnerable in action.
The DLC robot’s design is also clearly based on a unicorn. While a gameplay video featuring Stardust was not released, we do get to see it in-game in three screenshots, which you can see below. If you want to see the full game in action, you can check out the previously released launch trailer.
Override: Mech City Battle is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. All DLC characters, including Stardust, are available via the Super Charged Mega Edition, which is available for $39.99 on Amazon right now.
