Prior to launching in early 2020, Moon Studios and Xbox Game Studios seem to have another reveal of sorts planned for Ori and the Will of the Wisps next month at The Game Awards 2019.
Announced by the showrunner and host of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, today, Ori and the Will of the Wisps will be making an appearance at the event in some capacity next month. It is likely that a new trailer or gameplay for the title is what will be showing during the ceremony, as is customary most years. This will also mark the first time since E3 2019 that we’ve seen anything new on the game.

This news comes just a day after Xbox held its Inside Xbox live stream from London. It also coincides with news that The Coalition will also be showing Gears Tactics next month during The Game Awards as well. While there’s still a lot that we don’t know about The Game Awards this year, including the nominees for each category, it seems like Microsoft is planning on showing up with some rather major reveals. Hopefully, other major publishers in the industry will be doing the same.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps is set to arrive on Xbox One and PC next year on February 11, 2020. As for The Game Awards, the show is set to take place in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 12.
