Stories Untold developers No Code have revealed their next game: Observation.
No Code is working with Devolver Digital on Observation, which will be making its way to PlayStation 4 and PC sometime during Spring of 2019. Set in space, you view events as the space station’s AI SAM. A tragedy has occurred in which the crew of the space station have seemingly vanished, leaving only Dr. Emma Fisher behind. As the AI you view the world through various cameras connected to your system. You will be helping Emma fix the damage done to the station and try to solve the mystery of what happened and why by using your AI tools and abilities. A message during the reveal trailer also flashes stating, “Bring her” with no explanation as to its origin.
No Code previously worked on a mobile game for iOS and Android named Super Arc Light that came out of a Game Jam prototype. They also worked on The House Abandon, a short story horror game for PC released in 2016. Stories Untold was another horror game that told four short stories, including a remaster of The House Abandon. It has received very positive reviews since its launch and received multiple nominations at the Develop Awards, Golden Joysticks, and TIGA Awards. As part of Observation‘s reveal, Stories Untold is currently 75% off on Steam and on sale for $2.49 USD.
Observation will be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC in Spring 2019. You can view some images of the game in the gallery, as well as watch the reveal trailer below.
