We’re not that far away from the Mortal Kombat film’s release date; however, one creative fan isn’t willing to wait any longer. Twitter user Ayo the Creator has put together a “No Budget” version of Jax’s fatalities from Mortal Kombat 11. It’s utterly ridiculous and something you absolutely have to see for yourself. But don’t just take my word for it. Even Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon is a big fan of Ayo’s work. Check it out below.

This isn’t the first time Ayo the Creator has put together some impressive video game-related content. Last year, they recreated the practice arena in FIFA 21. And before that, they’ve done some really neat stuff with Grand Theft Auto. So, they’ve obviously been doing this kind of thing for a while. That said, this has to be their best work yet. The level of detail they’ve put into syncing everything up is pretty incredible. And the inventiveness of doing it all with minimal resources is so impressive.
We’ve seen quite a few channels and users putting together their own versions of real-world video games. For instance, last year we saw someone make a live-action recreation of Yakuza. That kind of stuff will always fun to watch. Not only because it shows how much passion the community has, but also because it’s awesome to see how inventive fans can be.
Make sure to head over to Ayo the Creator’s Twitter page to see all of their content in action. And, if you haven’t picked up Mortal Kombat 11 yet, make sure to do so. It’s available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
