Nintendo Switch is ever the hot commodity for indie audiences and developers, with ports of games coming (seemingly) every day. And with so many announcements, it’s hard to catch every announcement that day. So we’ve got you covered!
Here is a small round-up of some Switch stories through today, December 14, 2017:
The Coma: Recut
More than three months after The Coma: Recut’s original launch for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, the game will be heading to Nintendo Switch next week. And alongside that news, developer Devespresso Games has unveiled a Nintendo Switch launch trailer.
For those who haven’t heard of the game, it is a Korean-developed survival horror game in a nightmarish rendition of the protagonist’s high school. Korean student Youngho is being relentlessly followed by a serial killer, and you must try to escape him any way you can. Check out the launch trailer above.
The Coma: Recut launches next week on December 21, 2017 for Switch; it is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Mom Hid My Game!
You remember Mom Hid My Game!, right? First revealed to be coming to Nintendo Switch during the August Nindie Nintendo Direct, the game is… weird. The premise of it is your mom takes away your handheld game, and you have to find it — all while avoiding your mother. But, as you can see in the trailer, it isn’t limited to the normal hiding on a high shelf. Your mom is an evil mastermind, hiding your game inside watermelons.
But this game isn’t landlocked on Switch — it will also be making its way to New Nintendo 3DS. You can check out Mom Hid My Game! next week on December 21, 2017. Check out the trailer above.
RIVE: Ultimate Edition
RIVE: Ultimate Edition has been out for Nintendo Switch for nearly a month now, but that doesn’t mean we’ve heard everything new from developer Two Tribes. Announced earlier today, the game’s latest update (1.21) bring along the popular video recording feature.
Video recording isn’t necessarily new for Nintendo Switch, but it doesn’t come standard to all games like on PlayStation 4 and Xbox. Only a handful of Nintendo and non-Nintendo games on the platform carry the feature, though it is frequently requested. The update is available now for RIVE: Ultimate Edition, which is also available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Shu
Shu seems to get steam-rolled by larger game news, but you shouldn’t pass up on this Coatsink developed classic. Shu released over a year ago for PC, PS4, and PlayStation Vita, however it will be making its way to Nintendo Switch on January 23, 2018.
Notably, the Nintendo Switch version of Shu will include the Caverns of The Nightjars DLC, and it will also be running in 60fps. Shu focuses on the titular protagonist as he platforms across hand-drawn environments in an attempt to escape an ominous end-of-the-world, terrifying purple cloud.
Shu will be available for Nintendo Switch on January 23, 2018; however the game is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. You can check out the DualShockers review of Shu, where we awarded the game a 7.0 out of 10.

Robot Gentleman’s 60 Seconds! is coming to Nintendo Switch later this week, according to a surprise reveal in the Tweet above. Of course, this is a great precursor for 60 Parsecs!, the follow-up space-themed version of this game which was revealed earlier this year.
