As for what is said to be specifically divulged in this presentation, Nintendo has stated that it will feature an “in-depth look at Nook Inc.’s Deserted Island Getaway Package.” So just what does that mean? Well, we’ll almost surely be seeing a whole lot more gameplay for New Horizons over the course of the 25-minute event. If you’ve been wondering what will separate New Horizons from past entries in the series, Nintendo will surely show you all of its new bells and whistles during this Direct.
While Nintendo unveiled Animal Crossing: New Horizons last year, little has actually been shown for the game since that time. We saw some gameplay for the title last year during E3 2019, but Nintendo has largely kept things under wraps since then. The coming Direct later this week will be the game’s first big showcase event since being revealed, surely to the joy of many longtime fans.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will hit the Nintendo Switch next month on March 20. As for this week’s Direct, we’ll have all the latest news for you about New Horizons here on DualShockers as it develops.
