NieR Replicant 1.22 was announced back in March during a NieR 10th anniversary live stream. The game is a remaster of NieR from 2010. During this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Square-Enix released a new trailer alongside some new details. Since then, we haven’t gotten any new details or gameplay. After playing NieR Automata back in 2018, I’ve been so excited to play another game in the series.
As The Game Awards are coming up, we’ve gotten a ton of details on award presenters and possible game announcements. Some of the presenters are Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot, Reggie Fils-Aime, and Josef Fares. When it comes to games, Dragon Age 4 will be shown off, a new map in Among Us will debut, and Fall Guys might show off season three. Additionally, the pre-show is set to feature five world premieres. There will also be playable demos for upcoming games to try out. Are there any games you’re hoping get announced during the show? Let us know down in the comments.
NieR Replicant 1.22 launches on April 23, 2021 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. You can watch the latest trailer below. The Game Awards airs on December 10 at 6:30 pm ET/3:30 pm PT.
