Today, during GameStop Expo in Las Vegas, Bandai Namco presented some gameplay of Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.
We find Evan and Roland at the base of the sky pirates, ready to head to the Wiverns’ Den to save the pirates’ daughter.
We get to see the overworld in which characters are shrunk into chibi style and battles aplenty, alongside a look on the sky pirates’ hideout itself.
No matter how many time I look at this game, it always looks absolutely lovely. Lately we got to check out some interesting features that are very similar to the old dear Georama in Dark Cloud, and that really brings back memory. I haven’t been this excited for a JRPG in quite some time, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.
You can check a recording out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a new trailer and screenshots from Gamescom, North American special editions, the European ones, a beautiful gameplay video, the E3 trailer, another colorful batch of screenshot alongside more gameplay, and a third gallery of images.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be released for PS4 and PC, and its release has been recently delayed to January 19th, 2018.
