Things are finally getting a bit more contentious on the weekly UK sales chart as far as new releases go, with 2018’s biggest titles finally beginning to fall a bit more.
For this past week, the biggest launch new arrival was that of Bandai Namco’s Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which had a strong debut. In its first week, Ace Combat 7 ended up topping out at number 2 on the UK charts, falling only behind that of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. This is now the second straight week in which Nintendo’s Wii U port of New Super Mario Bros. has ended up at number one.
As for other notable listings this week, well, there really weren’t any. Red Dead Redemption 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and FIFA 19 have again rounded out the top 5, which should come as no surprise. The only other notable listing to appear on this week’s list is that of Resident Evil 7. Clearly, some fans are trying to catch themselves up before the launch of Resident Evil 2 tomorrow.
