God of War has been in the hands of many for a day or so, but Sony Interactive Entertainment isn’t yet done promoting the masterpiece by the good folks at SIE Santa Monica Studios.
Today they released a brand new trailer showing off some spiffy battle gameplay, including commentary by Director Cory Barlog, who provides five tricks to do well with the new battle system.
God of War‘s combat system is one of the best features of the game, and I’m absolutely in love with the Leviathan Axe. If you’re already playing the game and paid attention to the tutorial popups, chances are that you already know most of what Barlog said, but it’s definitely a good refresher for those who are not used to this kind of more tactical combat compared to older games of the series.
