Today, Bandai Namco released a new gameplay video of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
The video features a mission which is different from the demo playable at Gamescom, and showcases a new plane in action, the Eurofighter Typhoon.
We also get commentary directly from Producer Kazutoki Kono, who explains the basics of the game and what we see in the video.
Incidentally, the mission features is the same that was showcased at Gamescom behind closed doors (and that unfortunately we could not play), including some really heavy and spectacular weather. We get to see thunderclouds, turbulence, rainstorms and heavy fog just above ground level.
We also get to see the Yinshi Valley map, featuring some really tricky rock formations.
You can enjoy it below, and it you want to see more of the game, you can check out my own gameplay from earlier this week, and the newest trailer and screenshots. You can also take a look at another recent batch of screenshots, and the previous story trailer.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will launch in 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Incidentally, I also interviewed Kono-san at Gamescom, and you’ll soon be able to read the whole thing. For now, you can enjoy a small tease.
