Although the NBA Finals ended yesterday, marking an end to yet another basketball season, basketball fans won’t have to wait too long until they can get their fix. Today Electronic Arts released a first look trailer for its upcoming title NBA Live 19 at their EA Play press conference and announced that the game will be released on Sepember 7th.
The trailer shows off a variety of different basketball courts, a myriad of different types of basketball sneakers, and of course, the classic game of basketball that we all love. Featuring licensed players from the NBA and gameplay modes called The League and The Streets, the game aims to compete with its perennial rival, the NBA 2K franchise.
Check out the official first look trailer from NBA Live’s YouTube account below. While Electronic Arts did not announce which platforms the game will be released on during the short reveal trailer, it’s safe to assume that the title (like its predecessor) will be released on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. NBA Live 19 will be available on September 7th.
