Today Muv-Luv series developer âge showcased something interesting during one of its regular livestreams.

Towards the end of the stream, âge boss Koki Yoshimune showcased a 3D model of a XFJ-01 Shiranui Second Phase 2 in U.N. demonstrator unit colors from Muv Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse.

The model was presented on Twitter as “Super Unofficial Vtuber (tentative)” from the recent Japanese trend of virtual YouTubers started by the super-popular Ai Kizuna.

The 3D model itself appears to be the same that has been used in the old Muv-Luv VR release but it’s certainly interesting to see it showcased again, especially considering recent developments.

Yoshimune-san himself had an extremely enthusiastic reaction to the upcoming VR visual novel Tokyo Chronos, as you can see in the second video at the bottom of the post.

On top of that, Muv-Luv publisher Anchor hinted to “XR experiences” when it rebranded from Ixtl.

Could âge be teasing more VR productions for the Muv-Luv series? At the moment it’s hard to say. At the very least, it’s another chance to enjoy Muv-Luv’s top-notch mecha design.

While we wait to hear more (if there is more to hear), you can check out our recent interview with Koki Yoshimune himself.
