DMM launched a new event within its Muv-Luv mobile and browser game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier.
The event is titled “Implacable Cherry Blossoms – Hell Class” (which is quite appropriate, as Japan is about to enter the Sakura season), and by playing the event missions players can drop or unlock (via cumulative score) two SSR units. A lovely version of the stern Mana Tsukuyomi, and a Type-94 Shiranui with the Imperial Japanese Army colors, both Power-type.
As usual, this game keeps showing basically everyone else in the market how to keep players engaged with plenty of SSR drops that don’t require spending a dime or even being lucky at the gacha.
A related special gacha has also been implemented, with two featured SSR Speed-type units, the cutest Shogun ever designed Yuuhi Kobuin and a Type-00F Takemikazuchi in its iconic yellow livery reserved to commanders and nobles.
In other news related to the game, the damage relations between different types have been overhauled to better accommodate the new Hope and Despair types. We also learn that the rewards for the pre-registration campaign of the iOS and Google Play version of the game will be distributed on March 8th, in the form of a lot of G-Gemstones for those who are eligible.
In other Muv-Luv news, the visual novels for PC have just been relaunched on Steam after over a month of absence due to a publisher change, and they currently come with a 30% discount.
Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
