Having been in public beta the past few months, Stardew Valley developer ConcernedApe finally revealed when multiplayer will be coming to the game — and it’s sooner than you might expect.
Stardew Valley’s long-awaited multiplayer update will begin rolling out on PC, Mac, and Linux versions of the game on August 1.
Those who play Stardew Valley on consoles are likely wondering when they’ll be able to play with their friends as well, but currently, there is no specific window. ConcernedApe has simply said that this update is “coming soon” to PS4, Xbox One, and Switch versions of the game. We’ll have to wait until later to hear more on this front.

Multiplayer has by far been the most-requested feature that fans have had with Stardew Valley, so it’s nice to finally see it launch. Whenever we hear more about this update coming to consoles, we’ll let you know.
