It seems as though the Russian version of the Mortal Kombat movie trailer has leaked online today, just hours before its official trailer arriving at some point today. First spotted over on Reddit, the leaked trailer, which will very likely be taken down soon so watch it while you can, is called “the Red Band” trailer. Showcasing the game’s gore and violence, the trailer features lots of body parts going missing and knife action.
The video also incorporates key Mortal Kombat characters that include Lui Kang, Sub Zero, Scorpion, and Sonja Blade as they fight to the bloody end. If you are paying attention, you’ll also spot Noob Saibot, Reptile Shang Tsung, Goro, and of course, Mileena. To watch the leaked trailer, check out the embedded link below but I’m fairly certain that Warner Bros will take it down soon.
The official Mortal Kombat movie trailer will be arriving at some stage today. The title is set for release on April 16 and will be coming to movie theatres, as well as streaming exclusively on HBO Max.
