Hot off the heels of announcing Cetrion earlier this week, NetherRealm Studios has today unveiled an all-new fighter that will be joining the day one roster of Mortal Kombat 11.
Much like we anticipated from an earlier leak, Kollector is the name of the latest fighter in MK11. Much like past Mortal Kombat characters like Goro and Kintaro, Kollector boasts four arms that he uses to fight with, although his stature is much smaller than the aforementioned fighters. Just because he’s smaller though doesn’t mean he isn’t dangerous though as Kollector looks incredibly vicious.
Much like his name suggests, Kollector seems to enjoy collecting a bunch of different things. With a backpack on his back, Kollector can whip out a multitude of different items to then attack foes with.
As seen from Kollector’s gameplay trailer that NetherRealm released, he seems like he can fight well both at a distance and up close pretty well. When far away, the new fighter can hurl a variety of different weapons at foes. Kollector also has some teleportation moves that allow him to get in close before then dealing out lengthy combos with his four arms. Out of all of the fighters we’ve seen for MK11 so far, Kollector stands out as one of the more unique ones that I think we’ve seen. I’m looking forward to trying him out myself.
You can check out the new gameplay video for Kollector below if you want to get a look at his moves and devastating fatality. Mortal Kombat 11 is set to release later this month on April 23 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
