Today, Montreal-located developer Kitfox Games — who released its new cult simulator game Shrouded Isle earlier this month — has announced that its game Moon Hunters is coming “soon” to Nintendo Switch.
Further, the Nintendo Switch version will come with three new and exclusive companions. Details on said three characters beyond their confirmation has not been divulged.
As you may remember, last month Moon Hunters made its way to Xbox One after already being available on PS4, Mac, PC, and Linux since last year.
A former Kickstarter success that raised $178,000 USD, Moon Hunters is a 1-4 player co-operative (both offline and online) personality test RPG. In it you play as a hero over five days, building your legend in an ancient Mesopotamian-inspired world that is different with every playthrough.
The goal of the game is to figure out what happened to the missing moon goddess and create a reputation worthy of legend. Your legend and reputation is determined by your actions and decisions, which affect how the world reacts to you and remembers you.
The game’s Switch version will include the Eternal Echoes DLC, which features a Snowdancer player character, new enemies, new encounters, the One Voice village, and more.
Moon Hunters costs $14.99 USD. Below, you can check out a new trailer which accompanied today’s announcement. However, said new trailer doesn’t particularly offer a great look at the actual game, and thus if you want to see more, you will want to check to out the second trailer below.
