I will be honest. The way in which Capcom is managing to convey the charm of Monster Hunter World with ultra-brief six-second mini-trailers is getting every time more impressive.
Today we got another batch of this interesting and unusual series, including seven videos.
The first shows a simple line of ants, the second and third focus on fishing, the forth showcases a tricky quicksand, the fifth and sixth focus on the Paolumu, and the seventh shows a Pukei Pukei.
An interesting element is that one of the videos related to the Paolumu and the clip showing Pukei Pukei displays them as they feed on spores. The former does on aerial spores floating around in the coral highlands, and the latter on those he finds on flowers.
This goes to show how much effort Capcom put into making the open world of the game feel truly like a living and breathing ecosystem, which is definitely a first for the series.
You can enjoy the videos below. If you want to see more, you can also check out a trailer from yesterday afternoon focusing on the Palicoes, the latest screenshots released yesterday morning, and showing the game’s most important NPCs, our comparison between the three graphics mode on PS4 Pro, and read about the updates planned by Capcom after the game’s release.
Incidentally, we just learned that the game’s dedicated PS4 Pro console sold 33,000 units in Japan last week.
Monster Hunter World will launchworldwide on January 26th, for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC version coming at a later date.
