Following today’s reveal of the Wildspire Waste, Capcom Europe sent in a press kit with quite a lot of lovely screenshots of the upcoming Monster Hunter mainline game Monster Hunter World.
The screenshots still focus mostly on the Wildspire Waste area, giving us a glimpse on its monsters and environments, including the newly-revealed Baroth. We also get to see traversal thanks to the new grappling hook, that even lets you fly by hooking yourself up to a flying critter. Talk about convenience.
Another element that definitely shines in the screenshots is the environment, with long-spanning vistas showing a world that appears to be great for exploration, or even just for taking pictures.
You can check the screenshots out in the gallery below. If you want to see more of what Monster Hunter World looks like, you can enjoy two new trailers from earlier today, a recent gameplay video, a batch of trailers showcasing all of the fourteen weapons included in the game, the recording of the panel hosted at San Diego Comic Con including lots of info and footage, the announcement trailer, the first screenshots, and some impressive direct feed gameplay.
Monster Hunter World will launch in early 2018 (before March 31st, to be a bit more specific) for PS4 and Xbox One, with a PC release following down the line.
