It seems like lately we’ve been getting a lot of new details on the upcoming 3DS title Metroid: Samus Returns. Today was no different, as we got one packed video detailing various elements from the much-anticipated remake of the 1991 Game Boy game titled Metroid II: Return of Samus.
In the video provided at the bottom of this article, we get a detailed overview of the environments and dangerous alien lifeforms that populate Planet SR388. We also get a rather dignified introduction to the legendary bounty hunter Samus Aran. Along with that, we get a close look at all of the abilities and weapons Samus will have at her disposal over the course of the game, including a closer look at the combat and gameplay in Metroid: Samus Returns.
Metroid: Samus Returns will release on the Nintendo 3DS on September 15. Recently announced was a Samus-themed 3DS XL to release alongside the upcoming title.
If you’re looking for more information on Metroid: Samus Returns, you’re in luck because Nintendo recently revealed nearly 20 minutes of gameplay for the game.
