After speculating it earlier this morning, Capcom has officially confirmed that the Switch port of Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2 will be packaged together.
This news comes from the official Mega Man twitter account. Which not only confirmed that both games would combine into one title, but the game would also launch on Nintendo’s hybrid console on May 22 for $39.99. Capcom also confirmed that the game would have Amiibo support as well as a slew of additional content such as all the post-launch content for Mega Man 9 and 10.

According to the publisher, Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 (which contains the first six classic entries) will be provided on a cartridge. While Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 (featuring Megan Man 7 through Mega Man 10) will be a digital copy. Nevertheless, this is a golden opportunity for Switch fans to experience the first ten entries featuring the classic blue bomber before his next entry, Mega Man 11 launches later this year.
Mega Man Legacy Collection initially launched for 3DS PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii-U while Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 launched last year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
