Nintendo has revealed three new playable characters that’ll be making their way into Mario Tennis Aces.
Luma from the Super Mario Galaxy series, Pauline who originally appeared in Donkey Kong and recently returned in Super Mario Odyssey, and Boom Boom who has appeared in a multitude of Super Mario titles. You can check out a new trailer showing off each character’s in-game down below. The three characters are expected to release in the first quarter of 2019.
Nintendo has been adding a whole bunch of content into Mario Tennis Aces since the game’s launch earlier this year. Birdo and Diddy Kong are the two most recent characters who have been made available in-game. Koopa Paratroopa is available right now for Switch owners with a Nintendo Switch Online account. Koopa Troopa will be made available to all players on November 30. Additionally, the development team has released a good amount of balance updates for the title’s online community.
It’s totally rad to see Nintendo giving Switch owners plenty of reasons to go back to their exclusive lineup. I’m personally a big fan of the updates that they’ve released across multiple exclusive titles like Arms, Splatoon 2, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Mario Tennis Aces is available right now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
