Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is getting a mobile game for iOS and Android, and it’ll be launching in 2020. The game is titled Kimetsu no Yaiba Chifuu Kengeki Royal. This isn’t surprising seeing how popular the franchise is. We learned this via usual magazine leaks shared by Spytrue:

Kimetsu no Yaiba Chifuu Kengeki Royal is published by Aniplex and is developed by Soleil.
Besides the mobile game, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Chifuutan on PS4 was announced for 2021. Both announcements were in the same magazine.
While no details have been shared regarding that yet, it’s 99% likely the Kimetsu no Yaiba mobage will feature a gacha system and microtransactions.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an incredibly popular manga by Koyoharu Gotōge, and the anime adaptation by Ufotable only made it even bigger. The Kimetsu no Yaiba manga is now one of the best selling manga of all time with over 40.3 million copies sold. So a PS4 adaptation and a mobile game were inevitable.
We should be getting official announcement trailers for both games along with more info in the next few days. So stay tuned on DualShockers.
