Over seven years after originally releasing on PS3, thatgamecompany’s critically acclaimed title Journey will finally be making its way to PC for the first time next week.
Announced today by the game’s PC publisher Annapurna Interactive, Journey is finally set to arrive on PC on June 6, 2019, which is next Thursday. The game will retail for $14.99 on PC and will be made available via the Epic Games Store.
As for what this version of Journey will offer that’s different from its PS3 and PS4 counterparts, the game will offer visuals that have been optimized for 4K. If you’ve been looking to get the best graphical experience as you can out of Journey, this is now the best place you can play it.
Personally, I cannot recommend enough that you play Journey if you haven’t before. Even years after launching, it remains such a special game that I don’t think has ever able to have been replicated. Plus, it’s just a gorgeous video game backed by some stellar music. If you’ve ever had an interested in checking this game out but just haven’t done so over the years, next week is your chance to rectify that. I promise it’s well worth your time.
