In the wake of the death of George Floyd, a 46-year-old black man in Minnesota killed in an act of police brutality, the games industry has come together to show solidarity and support for the black community. Several companies such as EA and Square Enix have pledged to take action on fighting discrimination and racial justice, with Contigo Games and Itch.io joining to contribute from the indie community.
Contigo Games is offering an indie games bundle (being featured by Itch.io) to help support Black Lives Matter and the ongoing protests against police brutality that are happening across North America and other parts of the world. All proceeds from the bundle will be donated to Black Lives Matter and the National Bail Fund Network, with funds accrued from the bundle sales being split evenly between both organizations.

More details on the bundle will be shared later this week, but Itch.io explained that it will be waiving its cut of proceeds from the bundle sales to contribute more funds toward the supported charities.
