Today Square Enix released three new gameplay trailers of its upcoming party game Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary.
Each trailer is dedicated to a beloved hero of the two franchises involved in the game: we get Cloud and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII, and Terry from Dragon Quest VI: Realms of Revelation.
Like all the characters in the game, Cloud, Sephiroth and Terry will be fully voiced, and they will join a cast including Lightning, Squall, Noctis, Kefka and many more.
You can check out the trailers below, and if you want to see more, you can enjoy some extensive gameplay from the recent Dragon Quest Summer Festival event in Tokyo, another trailer featuring Squall from Final Fantasy VIII, and a batch of further trailers introducing the opening cinematic (both with Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest themes accompanying it), and two newly-introduced characters from Dragon Quest X, Anrusia and Nelgel.
Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary will launch in Japan on October 19th for PS4 and PS Vita. At the moment, no release has been announced for the western market. That being said, Square Enix has been pretty good at localizing its games lately, and there aren’t that many competitors on the shelves for this kind of game, so who knows, it might very well come.
