Indie developer Splashteam and publisher Playdius announced today that their ink-based 2D platformer Splasher will be coming to the Nintendo Switch later this month on October 26, and put out a launch trailer for the title. The Switch version’s release comes exactly one month after the game hit PS4 and Xbox One.
Splasher stars a purple-haired hero who is trying to free all of Inkorp paint factory’s workers from an evil boss named Le Docteur. In order to complete this mission, players must platform across 22 different levels and dodge traps with a splash cannon that can shoot different kinds of ink and water out. Players can use water to push themselves upwards; meanwhile, red stick-ink lets players stick to walls, and orange bounce-ink lets players jump higher.
The Nintendo Switch version of Splasher also includes a Time Attack mode where players can put their skills to the test and try to get through a level as fast as possible. The best times will be shown off on an online leaderboard. This launch trailer for Splasher gives players a good look at both the different kinds of ink players can use and the Time Attack mode.
