2019 is nearing closer every day, and with that we are getting closer to HuniePop 2. The game, which comes after a small delay, is still in very active development — however, developer HuniePot let everyone know early that we would be seeing a new character reveal tonight: character

And waiting paid off! We now have Brooke Belrose, a “well-endowed” trophy wife who happens to be Audrey’s aunt with a penchant for wedge heels and plastic surgery:
Announcing: Brooke! That's right. Not just one, but TWO sexy MILFs this time!
Brooke married a successful entrepreneur for the money and status, but feels nothing for him. Despite her age, she looks so young through surgery and botox injections. She's Audrey's aunt, by marriage. pic.twitter.com/8lFOSC2tuo

This is definitely another deviation from the standard HuniePop character set (thanks to the relatively high age), but one that fans of the series will likely be able to get behind. Even better, fan-favorite character Audrey is Brooke’s niece by marriage. We can’t say for sure whether that means we will see an Audrey cameo, but fans will likely be keeping their fingers crossed.
Of course, this isn’t the only character surprise we got from developer HuniePot. At the same time of the delay’s announcement, we learned that Jessie and Lola (from the original HuniePop) will be returning in the game’s sequel. Also, we saw the introduction of Polly Bendleson who is a feminine newcomer with… a bit of a surprise.
The most recent announcement, however, is Lailani–an island girl who is very appropriate to HuniePop 2’s island setting:
Announcing: Lailani! The island girl made it into the island game? What are the chances!?
Lailani’s an Inna De Poona native who works for the largest resort hotel on the island. She’s super sweet and sensitive so you better be fucking nice to her! 😤 pic.twitter.com/S4NXNiv4ap

As you can note from the small profile, Lailani is a young Polynesian girl who is “almost too nice.”
Despite a bit of a scare earlier this year that suggested that Steam would not be carrying games like HuniePop 2, Steam has since re-affirmed its policy so the game will come out fully uncensored. Obviously, those who choose to can change the censorship settings within the menu if they so desire.
HuniePop 2 will be released for PC and Mac in 2019, but the developer is looking into other platforms as well.
