Bandai Namco has officially released the Scarlet Nexus demo for free on the Xbox consoles. You can play as two different protagonists in a number of battles.
Officially revealed during last year’s Xbox Games Showcase, Scarlet Nexus is a brand new anime-style project from Bandai Namco with a heavy focus on fast-paced hack ‘n slash battles. As a cross-gen project, Scarlet Nexus will be available on both current-gen and last-gen consoles.

By rolling out a free demo for the game, Bandai Namco attempts to let the fans know more about the game and give a chance to gamers who are not familiar with Scarlet Nexus to have a brief experience.

How to Play the Scarlet Nexus Demo
Currently, the free demo is only available on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. You can head to the Microsoft Store, search for the game’s name, and download the demo for free.
If you want to play the demo on PS4 or PS5, then you will have to wait until May 28, when the demo launches on Sony’s current-gen and last-gen consoles as well. No plans for a PC demo have been announced yet.
The demo version of the Scarlet Nexus will allow you to play as Kasane or Yuito. Each character has a different combat style and based on that, you will experience a different type of AI teammates to help you defeat your enemies.
The missions that have been selected for the demo version will showcase a big part of the game’s impressive and unique features, such as the environmental opportunities to damage opponents.
Scarlet Nexus will be available on June 25 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC.
