All Destiny 2 Week 4 challenges are now live in the game and players have been asked to fulfill various objectives to successfully complete the challenges and receive the rewards. However, the Destiny 2 Intruder Alert challenge seems to be a tough one for the players to complete. Here we will go over the challenge to see what causes players from failing to achieve the mission’s goals.
How to Complete Destiny 2 Intruder Alert Challenge
The Intruder Alert challenge requires you to defend from a position for a few minutes until the scan of a Vex Pillar completes. You can complete this challenge by deploying your Ghost into the Vex Pillars in Battleground Oracle of Nessus and Battleground Cleansing of Cosmodrome, and protecting it until the scan is complete.
Keep in mind that once you deploy the ghost, don’t let any enemy member get close to it or your will fail. During the protection phase, there will be a main disrupter who will destroy the Ghost’s performance once he gets near the Vex Pillar. The main disrupter can be a different kind of enemy based on the location of the Vex Pillar and the difficulty level that you are playing at.
The best strategy for completing the challenge is to have your friends surrounding the Vex Pillar, avoiding anyone from getting closer to Ghost. It would be difficult to finish the challenge on your own.
Aside from the Intruder Alert, there are three other challenges available that you can check a highlight of them down below:
- Contender’s Ascent IV: Complete the Challenger’s Proving IV quest and defeat 50 Cabal using sniper rifles
- Golden Reaper: Acquire Cabal Gold
- Explosive Entrance: Defeat Champions and get grenade takedowns in Battlegrounds
- Contender’s Delve: Complete a Lost Sector on Legend or higher
