It’s been an exciting few weeks for Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans. First, they celebrated the Lunar New Year, then Valentine’s Day, and then a bevy of Super Mario Bros. themed items were announced for the game in last week’s Nintendo Direct. Starting today, players can get their hands on a few exclusive Hinamatsuri Animal Crossing items. Here’s what they are and how to get them.
Hello! Spring is coming to the northern hemisphere, and Nook Shopping has some festive decorations to celebrate Hinamatsuri on March 3rd. How do you choose between the hinaningyo and the blossom lantern? You don't! They're both so cute and available now on alternating days. pic.twitter.com/JYtXYx81HY

There are only two items to celebrate the Japanese holiday, Hinamatsuri: the Hinaningyo and the Blossom Lantern. Both items will be sold until March 3 and cost 2,560 and 2,400 bells respectively. Both items can be purchased in the “seasonal” tab of the Nook Shopping Center’s “special goods” section.
While it would be nice to be able to order both items at the same time, the Nook Shopping Center (or Nook Shopping App if you’ve unlocked it) only offers one item per day. If you don’t see the item you want today, fret not, the two will rotate in and out until March 3. You should have plenty of time to snag them if you so choose.
Both items are cute and would make wonderful additions to Zen gardens or bedrooms, but the choice of where you put them is up to you.
