Halo: The Master Chief Collection is finally getting crossplay between Xbox One and PC. Other features that are being added are a custom game browser, PC file share, per game graphics and audio options, mouse and keyboard support for Xbox One players, and much more. The news came directly from 343 Industries on Waypoint in a new development update which details some of the features the team is working on for 2020.

When crossplay is implemented, it will feature Input Based Match Making and Server Region Selection. 343 also mentioned that Custom Game Browser will release Per Game Graphics Options and of course the much-coveted Mouse and Keyboard support for Xbox players. The team has also pledged to bring ODST’s campaign and Halo 4 to the PC version of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. ODST Firefight with updated networking will hopefully join the collection for both Xbox One and PC sometime this year as well.

The team at 343 Industries has done an admirable job supporting Halo: The Master Chief Collection since it’s rocky release on November 11, 2014. They have revealed no dates for these updates other than 2020, but you can be sure to get all future updates for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and the upcoming Halo: Infinite right here at Dualshockers.
