While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was a hefty game in its own right with memorable side quests and an expansive main story, one of the most impressive features of the game was its mini-game Gwent. Beefy enough to be a game in its own right, the mini-game eventually established a life of its own through Gwent: The Witcher Card Game on PC, consoles, and iOS, with the game now available today on mobile.

Developer CD Projekt Red has announced that the Android version of Gwent: The Witcher Card Game is available now on compatible Android devices. You can download the game now through the Google Play store. In addition to the release on Android today, CD Projekt Red also detailed that players can pick up a free Ultimate Premium Keg by downloading and logging into the game to celebrate its launch, with the offer available until March 31.

The game first launched in late 2018 on PC after a period of beta testing and eventually expanded out to console and mobile releases in the time since. Last fall saw the launch of the iOS version (the first mobile iteration), with CD Projekt Red saying that the Android version would launch at a later date. Additionally, CD Projekt Red announced late last year that the company would be ending support for both the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game in order to support the platforms that most players were active on, PC and mobile.
