Today, Crazy Monkey Studios announced that its classic action-styled shooter Guns, Gore & Cannoli will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this Holiday season.
The 2D side-scrolling shooter features a campaign mode set in the Roaring Twenties where you will play as gangster Vinnie Cannoli as he attempts to find his lost friend. Blocking your path are not only rivaling gangsters and government officials, but flesh-eating zombies.
If you wanted an excuse to get back into the action, a versus mode featuring seven different battle arenas is available for you and a few friends to enjoy.
Guns, Gore & Cannoli will allow up to four players choose one of thirteen different skins to shoot their way through the game’s campaign and versus modes. The Nintendo Switch’s favorable multiplayer features will certainly be favorable for the zombie-filled shooter.
Additionally, Crazy Monkey Studios announced that the team is “200% focused” on the game’s sequel, Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 with details about it coming soon.
Guns, Gore & Cannoli initially released back in April 2015 on Steam. Shortly after, the game made its way to consoles with an Xbox One version in September and a PlayStation 4 version in December of the same year.
Guns, Gore & Cannoli will launch on Nintendo Switch December 21, 2017.
