Even though E3, Gamescom, and all the other summer conventions are canceled due to the coronavirus, groups like the Guerrilla Collective are working hard to get studios together for exciting, digital events. The team is partnering with Greg Miller and the Media Indie Exchange to produce a new, three-day event. It will showcase some of the best and brightest studios in the industry. The event should be a lot of fun.
A collective of amazing game studios and publishers have come together to create a digital multi-day press conference from June 6th-8th. Teams will share new games, debut trailers while celebrating the gaming culture. More info: https://t.co/Gja0ka2oxN #guerrillacollective pic.twitter.com/yoYDrsJfYC

The Guerrilla Collective is actively working to add more studios. However, some of the announced teams include 11 bit Studios, Coffee Stain, Humble Bundle, and Larian Studios . We’ll also get announcements from Paradox Interactive, Raw Fury, Rebellion, ZA/UM, and many more. Last year, at the Kinda Funny Games Showcase, we saw more than 60 different indie games. I would expect a similar number of announcements here.
Guerrilla Collective is far from the only event happening this summer. Geoff Keighley is working with several partners to produce an ongoing Summer Game Fest. Other places like IGN are putting together their own E3-lite events. Those companies would have been doing something roughly similar on the E3 show floor. It only makes sense for them to put something together to run in that place, given the circumstances. What is clear is that, even without E3, there will still be plenty of ways for companies big and small to get their latest titles in front of gamers’ eyeballs.
The Guerrilla Collective runs from June 6-8. Stick with DualShockers for all the latest news out of all of these summer events.
