I can’t believe I’m even saying it, but in just a few days it’ll be exactly one year since God of War was released to the public. Of course, ever since then it’s gone on to win an absolute ton of Game of the Year awards (including one from us) and to celebrate the response to the game, Sony Santa Monica released a brand new trailer for the game.
The trailer itself only clocks in at around a minute long, however, it gives viewers a look at some incredibly detailed shots from the game, all while boasting about its many awards and praises. And rightfully so, as the game has received over 190 different Game of the Year awards. As always, if you want to check out the trailer for yourself, you can do so at the end of the article.
In addition to the brand new trailer, the developer also announced that God of War would be available for 40% off for an entire week, with the sale ending on April 23, 2019. With the standard price of the game being $40, this brings the price down to $23.99, which, in my opinion, is an absolute steal for one of, if not the best games of last year.
This isn’t the only thing Sony Santa Monica has done to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the game. A couple of days back, the developer released a thank you video as well as a brand new dynamic theme.
God of War is available exclusively on PlayStation 4. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
