Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima is set to release in a little over two weeks at this point, and to make the wait until launch a little bit easier, a new video for the game was today let loose.
Per usual with Sony’s first-party titles, Ghost of Tsushima’s latest trailer has taken the form of a fully-CGI commercial that gives prospective players a taste of what to expect. The video, which is only a minute long, focuses on the game’s protagonist, Jin Sakai, as he takes on various enemies in the land of Tsushima. We also get a look at Jin taking on foes in various forms of combat, some of which are more direct, and others that are stealth-based.
Again, there is no actual gameplay footage from Ghost of Tsushima shown in this new commercial, so if you were looking forward to seeing some new in-game looks, you’ll have to keep waiting. Fortunately, Sony and Sucker Punch held a State of Play stream for the game last month which showed off much more gameplay from the title in great depth. If you haven’t watched that yet, I highly encourage you to do so.
Additionally, Sucker Punch also recently unveiled some new concept art for Ghost of Tsushima just a few days back as well. It seems that as the game’s release date draws ever closer, we’re starting to see a whole lot more. Hopefully, that continues over the coming days and weeks.
Ghost of Tsushima is set to arrive in just a few short weeks and will release exclusively on PS4 on July 17. If you’d like to watch the new trailer in question, you can find it attached above.
