What are the skins / costumes available in Genshin Impact so far?
Right now, the only two characters with alternate skins / costumes are Barbara and her sister Jean. Swimwear costumes to be specific. Barb’s skin was obtainable for free during all of Version 1.6. Meanwhile, her sister’s costume was discounted during 1.6, which indicates future costumes will be discounted for a limited time as well.
Genshin Impact follows northern hemisphere seasons, and the Jean and Barbara costumes coincided with the summer-themed Version 1.6 update. As such, the next time we get new costumes, it’s likely to be Fall or Winter themed costumes. It’s also possible Albedo’s waiter costume, made for the Sweets Paradise collab café key visual, will be added to the game.
Genshin Impact should launch its Version 2.1 on September 1. This update will add more Inazuma islands and a fishing system accordig to leaks. miHoYo has also already confirmed the Raiden Shogun, Kujou Sara, and Sangonomiya Kokomi will be pullable in new gacha banners. All three characters already appear in-game, in the Archon Story Quests.
