Yesterday we got a glimpse at the early in-development version of the upcoming Forza Motorsport 8 that is being developed by Turn 10 Studios. However, there was news about Forza Horizon 4 that was subtly tucked away at the bottom of a blog post.
It was confirmed that Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 4 will be heading to the Xbox Series X through Smart Delivery when the console launches. Its arrival will allow the game to run at 4K in ultra-high definition and also at a native 60fps. It will also allow players to experience the game with higher quality at greater distances, make use of the Quick Resume feature along with improved loading times.
The game has done fairly well, seeing over 12 million players in total jumping into the game since its launch back in 2018, The game has seen a “Fortune Island” expansion as well as a collaboration with LEGO to bring…LEGO cards to the game. Playground Games also joined in on the Battle Royale craze last year by introducing the Eliminator game mode.
If you’re wanting to pick up Forza Horizon 4 it’s currently available on Xbox One and PC for Windows 10. It’s also available on Xbox Game Pass. It’ll be available on the Xbox Series X when that console eventually launches sometime later this year.
