Fortnite developer Epic Games is considering adding a monthly subscription package into their massively popular battle royale and is currently surveying players to see how they would feel about the addition.
Information on the potential subscription and survey was shared on Twitter by user FireMonkey, who specialises in Fortnite news and leaks. The survey asks players a range of questions, including if they would be happy to pay a monthly subscription within Fortnite, how much they would be willing to pay and what items they would expect should they subscribe.
Images from the survey indicate two potential price points, $15.99 and $18.99 per month, however, Eurogamer has suggested that there may in fact be a much more palatable $5 entry point. It is likely that within the monthly fee, players would gain access to the Battle Pass, special outfits, Back Blings and Pickaxes and 1000 V-Bucks (equivalent to $8/£6.50).
While the idea seems to be in the early stages, it seems like a natural progression for Fortnite to make considering just how popular the battle royale remains to this date.
