Arena Box Fight Test
It looks like a lot has changed with the new competitive season of Fortnite that kicked off on March 23, one of the biggest changes is the inclusion of a new test mode known as Arena Box Fight.
So, what is the mode? According to the Epic Games website, the new mode is a two-week test run of the community-favourite Creative game mode as a new means of earning Hype points. Players must “Learn piece control, corner peeks and tracking through builds as you faceoff against players of similar Hype points”.
However, it is worth noting that the Hype points earned in this test mode will not be carried over to the normal Arena Hype points. This is of course because the new mode is simply a test, but if implemented after the testing period players will then be able to earn Arena Hype Points through the new Arena Box Fight mode.
Arena Points Reset
Arena Hype Points are usually reset at the beginning of a new season, but as Season 6 kicked off on March 16, Arena Points are only just being reset on March 23.
As of 9AM EDT / 1PM GMT, Arena Points have officially been reset and players can now start earning points for Season 6.
