Along with Rainbow Six: Siege, Ubisoft’s For Honor has found lots of success as a “games-as-a-service” title. The game has amassed over 15 million players in the nearly two years it has been on the market, and recently received a massive update called Marching Fire. Today, Ubisoft teased a For Honor announcement tied to something quite interesting: Abstergo from the Assassin’s Creed series.
This announcement was hinted at through a simple video posted to the official For Honor Twitter account. The Tweet simply says “Nothing is true, everything is permitted” before flashing a glitched out Abstergo logo followed by when we can expect the announcement:

As you probably already know, Abstergo Industries is a prominent company in the Assassin’s Creed series that also functions as a modern day front for the Templar Order. It has been referenced before in other Ubisoft games like Watch_Dogs, but this is the first time Abstergo has been referenced in anything related to For Honor.
For now, we don’t know what specifically they are teasing. Knowing For Honor and its weekly content releases, this could be anything from a big Assassin’s Creed themed update with new stories and factions to just some Abstergo-branded weaponry, emotes, and a few cute easter eggs. That being said, we’ll know for sure what it is after this week’s Warrior’s Den livestream, which takes place at 12pm ET tomorrow.
DualShockers will be sure to keep you updated on whatever this Abstergo-related For Honor announcement is. If you want to pick the game up before then, For Honor is currently available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on Amazon.
