Yesterday, a new patch went live for the action-adventure title Middle-earth: Shadow of War to prepare for the launch of the game’s first major expansion. Today, that expansion is now available for purchase.
The DLC is entitled Blade of Galadriel and it picks up after the events that take place during the conclusion of Shadow of War. Rather than filling the usual role of series protagonist Talion, this expansion now finds you in the role of the elf Eltariel–also known as the Blade of Galadriel–a character that those who have played Shadow of War should be familiar with. To coincide with the release of this expansion, Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions released a new trailer for Blade of Galadriel which details more of what players can expect to see take place throughout the course of the DLC.
The full new trailer for Blade of Galadriel can be found at the bottom of the page. If you haven’t finished Shadow of War just yet and don’t want anything to be spoiled for you, then you might want to skip out on watching it for now as it shows off quite a lot of the game’s final scenes.
