The FIFA 20 Team of the Season So Far promo has been jam-packed with top-flight talent. However, the French Ligue 1 might be the best of the bunch. Released today, the team includes all-world talents like Kylian Mbappe and Neymar. And, of course, one of the most meta players in the game Ben Yedder has nabbed himself a ridiculous new card. Give the full team a look below.

As expected, the squad heavily features Paris Saint-Germain. Of the 20 players, six of them play for the Parisian giants. Mbappe and Neymar are the obvious standouts; however, that Angel Di Maria card doesn’t look bad either. That being said, both Mbappe and Di Maria have FUT Birthday cards that claim a boosted weak foot in comparison to their TOTSSF cards. In the current FIFA meta, many players will prefer that weak foot upgrade, making these cards slightly less valuable.
Elsewhere, everyone and their mom will be looking to slot Ben Yedder’s shiny new card into their teams. Yedder is always one of the most-used players in FIFA. And now he’s even better. Sorry for your weekend league record.
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Renato Sanches’ TOTSSF pop up in a ton of squads. He’s been a FIFA favorite for years now. Other players like Memphis Depay, Houssem Aouar, Victor Osimhen, Youcef Atal, and Kenny Lala will make great additions to most Ligue 1 teams.
As always, EA isn’t just giving out new players through packs. I mean, you won’t get the great players without dropping either a ton of time or money, but you can get some decent cards. This week’s objective players are Alexandr Golovin (squad battles) and Idrissa Gueye (Rivals). Currently, Dimitri Payet is the only SBC player, though I would expect EA to add at least one or two more players over the next week.
Next Friday is also the end of the current season and the supposed last round of Icon Swaps. It will be worth paying attention to what EA does next. We know that Ultimate TOTSSF kicks off next Friday, but after that, the schedule is wide open. Will EA continue to give players stuck at home tons of content? Or will it all dry up again as the team works toward FIFA 21? Check back next week to find out.
FIFA 20 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you want to build an absolutely filthy team, now is a great time to jump in. Ligue 1 TOTSSF is in packs until next Friday. A few new minor leagues should join the rotation on Monday.
