FIFA 19 Retains Number One Spot in UK Sales with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Debuting at Second

In case you weren’t aware of just how huge FIFA is every year when it releases, this past week’s UK sales chart for the 40th week of the year should give you a good indication.

FIFA 19 once again took home the number one spot of the week after debuting in that same position last week. What’s more impressive though this week, is that it held off two of the fall’s biggest releases in the process. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, which formally released last Friday, debuted in the number two position while Microsoft’s exclusive Forza Horizon 4 hit the sales charts for the first time in third.

Forza and Assassin’s Creed weren’t the only debuts of last week, however. Super Mario Party made its own appearance on the chart in fifth while Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise came in a bit lower at twenty-first. Also worth noting is Marvel’s Spider-Man which continued to rank in the top five by coming in at fourth this past week despite all of the new releases.
